Rehabilitation Services

Physical rehabilitation is a common care need among aging individuals. Following a medical event, serious illness or extended hospital stay, physical rehabilitation can help a resident regain strength and improve mobility.

Gain Strength & Increase Mobility

It's no secret that strength is the key to better mobility so we provide as many opportunities as possible for our residents to remain active and improve their physical fitness. Options may include physical therapy 2-3 times per week with visiting therapists, supplementary activities with our care team such as walking to and from meals, attending daily exercise class, or independent use of our seated stationary bike.

As part of our activities programming, we offer a seated exercise class each morning. During class, our activities team member leads a group of residents through seated chair exercises that may include leg lifts and extensions, bicep curls and arm raises, seated marches, stretches, and core strengtheners, among others.
