Jen MacDougal's journey in healthcare began in the scenic surroundings of the Adirondacks, where she spent her early years, attending school in Willsboro.

Her career in healthcare started at the young age of 19 when she became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and discovered her deep passion for working with the elderly. Jen finds geriatrics particularly rewarding, appreciating the freedom and authenticity that comes with age. She deeply respects the elderly, valuing their life stories and the wisdom they offer, and believes they deserve the utmost care and attention.

Jen's professional path led her to the CVSC family in April 2021, where she started as an assistant care coordinator. Her dedication and skill soon saw her taking charge of the Med room, and she eventually advanced to the role of a case manager. In this capacity, Jen plays a crucial role in advocating for residents, developing individualized care plans that best meet their needs. Her interaction with residents and their families is not just a professional duty but a source of personal growth and learning.

Jen's experience at CVSC has been enriching, allowing her to gather invaluable insights from each resident, further fueling her passion for geriatric care and enhancing her skills as a healthcare professional.
